Cisplatin, a widely used chemotherapeutic drug, causes ototoxicity in a large percentage of
patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the efficacy of epicatechin (EC) as an
otoprotective agent to prevent cisplatin toxicity and to investigate the molecular mechanism
